Overnight temperatures have been in the teens near our home in Colorado. Perfect opportunity to test the van’s diesel fired hydronic heat system with a quick overnight to a local reservoir. The heater heats glycol and has both forced air and water heat exchangers. The van is well insulated and it easily maintained 65 degrees overnight without a noticeable drop in the vans fuel gauge. We don’t plan on a lot of winter camping but it’s nice to know we can.
